This is an all-inclusive private cultural tour — airport transfers, a private air-conditioned vehicle with an English-speaking chauffeur guide, accommodation, entrance tickets to all listed attractions, all mentioned activity costs, UNESCO-site guides, daily water, and government taxes. A few items are extra: the optional Mihintale entrance, the Lotus Tower observation deck, optional site guides, and meals not listed.
The main climb is Sigiriya (about 1,200 steps, 1.5–2 hours round trip), plus walking at each heritage site. It’s a moderate, culture-focused tour rather than a strenuous one. We schedule the Sigiriya climb for the cooler evening.
Mihintale is the site where Buddhism was introduced to Sri Lanka — a sacred mountain with an ancient stairway and lovely views. It’s a rewarding add-on for those interested in Buddhist heritage; the entrance fee is paid separately.
Shoulders and knees must be covered at all temples, and shoes are removed before entering. Light, modest clothing and easy-to-remove footwear are recommended.
Yes — it pairs easily with a southern-beach, hill-country, or safari extension. Use the “Plan My Trip” form and we’ll tailor a longer itinerary and quote.
