These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings, services, and interactions with Ceylon Peacock Travels. By confirming a booking or using our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before making a reservation.

Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed once:

  • The agreed advance payment has been received
  • You receive written confirmation via email or WhatsApp

Ceylon Peacock Travels reserves the right to release or cancel any booking if the required payment is not received within the specified time.

Payment Terms

  • An advance payment is required to confirm your tour
  • The remaining balance can be paid before arrival or upon arrival in Sri Lanka, as agreed

Payment methods may include:

  • Bank transfer
  • Online payment links
  • Other agreed payment methods

All bank charges or transaction fees must be covered by the client.

Pricing

All prices provided are based on:

  • Number of travelers
  • Travel dates
  • Selected accommodation category
  • Availability at the time of booking

Prices may change if:

  • There are changes in hotel availability
  • Travel dates are modified
  • Government taxes or fees are updated

Final pricing will be confirmed before booking confirmation.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your booking, the following conditions may apply:

  • Cancellation charges depend on the timing of cancellation and confirmed services
  • Non-refundable deposits may apply for certain bookings such as hotel reservations or special activities

We recommend informing us as early as possible in case of cancellation to minimize charges.

No Show And Early Termination

  • If a traveler does not arrive for the tour (no-show), the full payment may be charged
  • If the tour is terminated early by the traveler, no refunds will be provided for unused services

Changes To Itinerary

Ceylon Peacock Travels reserves the right to modify the itinerary due to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Road conditions
  • Safety concerns
  • Availability of services

Any changes will be made with the intention of providing a similar or better experience.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is not included in our tour packages.

We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering:

  • Medical emergencies
  • Trip cancellations
  • Personal belongings
  • Travel delays

Responsibility And Liability

Ceylon Peacock Travels acts as a service provider and organizer for travel arrangements.

We are not responsible for:

  • Injuries, accidents, or illness during the tour
  • Loss or damage to personal belongings
  • Delays caused by external factors such as weather, transport issues, or government actions

Travelers participate in all activities at their own risk.

Health And Safety

Travelers are responsible for ensuring that they are physically fit for the tour and any planned activities.

Any medical conditions, dietary requirements, or special needs should be communicated in advance so we can assist where possible.

Accommodation And Services

Accommodation is provided based on the selected category and availability.

In cases where a listed hotel is unavailable, a similar standard hotel will be arranged.

All services are subject to availability at the time of booking.

Transport

  • Private transport is provided with a driver-guide
  • Vehicle type depends on group size
  • Seat belts must be used where available

Travel times mentioned in itineraries are approximate and may vary depending on road conditions.

Entry Requirements

Travelers are responsible for ensuring they meet all entry requirements for Sri Lanka, including:

  • Valid passport
  • Visa or Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA)

Force Majeure

Ceylon Peacock Travels is not liable for failure to perform any obligations due to circumstances beyond our control, including:

  • Natural disasters

  • War or civil unrest
  • Pandemics

In such cases, alternative arrangements may be offered where possible.

Customer Responsibility

Travelers are expected to:

  • Follow local laws and regulations
  • Respect cultural and religious practices
  • Follow instructions provided by guides and drivers

Failure to do so may result in termination of services without refund.

Complaints

If you have any concerns during your tour, please inform us immediately so we can address the issue promptly.

Complaints submitted after the completion of the tour may be more difficult to resolve.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
